Semisolid Metal Printing
Ever since the start of RepRap, we have collectively dreamed of printing metal the same way we print plastic.
Our founder, Michael Perrone, was inspired by Lulzbot's experiments to start a student project at WPI, which eventually became a full-scale collaboration with Lawrence Livermore National Lab - and then the team gave up because it was hard. But he didn't give up.
Now almost 8 years of tinkering later, the time for S.M.P has arrived.
